In Nursing Personnel’s News section there are a number of recent articles from various view points on the government’s agenda and plans for reform in relation to the NHS.

In a nut shell the government said “savings will have to be made”, which in this current economic environment does make sense. However one of the promises made was “front line staff”; that being nurse jobs and doctor jobs, would not be affected and the cuts would be achieved by eliminating inefficiencies within the NHS.
