Our Client is one of the largest and busiest teaching
hospitals and a leading London based hospital.
They provide specialist services to patients and
are recognised nationally and internationally for work in
liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac and
haemato-oncology.
They are currently looking for Band 5 and 6 Staff Nurses to join
their Liver Intensive Care Unit.
Key Accountabilities
As a Staff Nurse you will be expected to deliver high standard of
care within this challenging environment.
As a Staff Nurse Band 6 you will be a role model and
a team leader to junior staff.
You will be expected to co-ordinate shifts which include
staff-patients allocation and delegation.
You need to be highly motivated and dynamic nurse with
excellent communication skills.
Experience in a Liver Clinical Area is advantageous
however it is not essential, the main focus is on having
critical care skills and experience.
Unit Description
The Liver intensive care unit within this large hospital is
the largest of its kind in Europe with a dynamic and committed team
of staff. They have strong links with the international liver
units.
This is a 15-bedded intensive care unit, at the cutting edge of
management of multi-organ dysfunction associated with liver
disease.
