Nursing Personnel are currently working on behalf of
one of the largest and leading London hospitals with unique profile
of strong local services and a focused set of specialist
services.
They are looking to recruit a Band 7 Charge Nurse for Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit which offers a wide range of services. As
well as being a referral unit for premature babies, the unit also
accepts specialist referrals for abdominal, neuro and eye surgery
and referrals for the world-wide celebrated liver service.
You need to demonstrate relevant experience, enthusiasm and
commitment to improving standards of care. You need to
possess good communication and leadership skills along with
excellent interpersonal skills.
As a Band 7 NICU Nurse you need to be experienced in working
in a busy neonatal environment.
This role offers a rare and exciting opportunity to maintain
expert clinical knowledge and skills and also to develop leadership
and management experience. You will be expected to work both as
exceptional clinical role models and to lead their own teams,
demonstrating effective management skills. This is an excellent
opportunity to influence both the quality of care and staff
development.
You must be a registered nurse and have sound clinical experience
at band 6 or 7 in a neonatal unit with a recognized neonatal
intensive care course and a mentorship course or equivalent.
