Nurse (Mental Health)Band5: Assesses mental health patients/clients, plans and implements care, maintains associated records.: Carries out nursing procedures.: Provides supervision to other staff.: Professional/clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level.: Assessment of patient’s condition.: Organises own time and that of junior staff and students.: Restraint of patients/clients using approved techniques, Dexterity and accuracy required for e.g. intravenous injections.: Assesses, developes, implements and evaluates mental health nursing care programmes: Maintains patient/client records.: Works within code of practice and professional guidelines.: Concentrates on patient/client observations, unpredictable patient behaviour.
